Micro Unit
This unit involves working with Open Cities Lab on live briefs.
OCL is an organisation in South Africa that combines the use of action research, co-design, data science, and technology with civic engagement to enable the development of inclusive cities and urban spaces.
Data stories is a project that explores researching and designing ways to tell a human story of the city that incorporates experiential data and quantitative values.
Re-evaluating insights gained from quantitative data by integrating lived stories.
Designing sensory experience using artefacts to narrate the qualitative inquiries of the quantitative data.
